You typed "creator fund calculator" or something like it, got a monthly dollar figure, and now want to know if it's real. Short answer: it's an estimate built on someone's assumed rate, because TikTok doesn't publish one. Many of the views you entered may never be paid at all.

This article covers the rules behind that number, using TikTok's own pages as of October 2026: who the Creator Rewards Program pays, which videos and views count, and how rewards are calculated. For the arithmetic, use our TikTok money calculator once you know which inputs apply to you.

A note on bias: Blipix is our product, a faceless video generator, and the calculators on our site are ours too; we say where they mislead. We make no earnings claims.

In short

  • Who: Personal accounts in eight countries, aged 18 or over, with at least 10,000 followers and 100,000 video views in the last 30 days.
  • Which videos: original, high quality and over one minute, with at least 1,000 For You feed views.
  • Which views: only qualified ones, meaning at least five seconds watched, one per account, from the eight program countries.
  • How much: a Standard Reward plus an Additional Reward, which together set your RPM. TikTok publishes no RPM, per-view rate or country rate.
  • When: on the 15th, once you reach $50.00 USD. TikTok's US terms also let it cap rewards.
  • Calculators: every figure, ours included, is a scenario, not a quote.

Who TikTok pays: Creator Rewards eligibility, as of October 2026

TikTok's Creator Rewards Program page was updated September 10, 2026. It says you need to:

  • be based in, and have your account registered in, the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, South Korea, France, Mexico or Brazil;
  • be at least 18 years old;
  • use a Personal account (Business, political and government accounts don't qualify);
  • keep the account in good standing;
  • meet this bar: "Your account should have at least 10,000 followers and 100,000 video views in the last 30 days."

The US program terms, last updated July 20, 2026, require authentic followers and views and a payment account in your own name. If you're rejected, you can re-apply after 30 days. Other countries have their own terms.

You apply under Profile > Menu (☰) > TikTok Studio > Creator Rewards Program, and TikTok says you'll hear back within three days. The Creator Rewards FAQ adds that your age is taken from your birthdate, and you should be ready to prove it with government-issued ID.

Still working toward the thresholds? See our notes on warming up a new TikTok account. Bought followers or views won't help, because the terms exclude artificial, paid or inflated metrics.

How accounts lose eligibility

TikTok's ineligibility list includes five video violations in the past 30 days. Five total account violations make an account permanently ineligible, and a permanently banned account forfeits outstanding rewards. You can appeal an ineligible video within 80 days and a disqualified account within 30.

Which videos can earn

Joining the program doesn't make every video pay. TikTok's rule: "It must be original, high-quality content over 1 minute long." It also needs at least 1,000 views on the For You feed. Duets, Stitches, Photo Mode posts, ads, paid promotions and sponsored content don't qualify. The video must follow the program terms, Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, Creator Code of Conduct and Copyright Policy, and TikTok says it should be 1080p or higher.

The one-minute line

The Creator Academy says "over 1 minute", but the US terms say at least one minute. Leave some margin: aim clearly past 1:00, not right at it.

Content TikTok treats as ineligible

Anything that can't appear on the For You feed can't earn from the program either. For faceless and AI-assisted creators, these categories matter most:

  • Unoriginal: copied from others, or with minimal original input or edits.
  • Low quality: "Your account info or video content includes split screens, meaningless reactions, low-quality images, or slide videos." That means split-screen gameplay layouts count as low quality for rewards. Our post on Reddit story and gameplay videos covers the rights side.
  • The rest of the list: advertising (such as contact info in your profile), clickbait, inappropriate or disturbing content, artificial engagement and manipulating the rewards system.

On the plus side, the Additional Reward looks for content that is well-crafted, engaging and specialized, which TikTok describes as expertise in a niche or a unique perspective.

What counts as a qualified view

This is where most dollar figures go wrong. TikTok pays on qualified views, not on the number shown under your video, and "Qualified views exclude any fraudulent or paid views." According to the program page, a qualified view also needs:

  • "A watch time of at least five seconds";
  • no "I'm not interested" tap from the viewer;
  • a viewer in one of the eight program countries;
  • no connection to ads, paid promotions or sponsored content.

Two more rules: "Multiple views from the same account are counted as one unique view", and views that come from Search need longer: TikTok lists "Search views with watch times of at least 30 seconds".

That means views under five seconds, repeat views and views from outside the eight countries can all appear in your view count without qualifying. TikTok's new RPM dashboard shows qualified and ineligible views for each video, with reasons such as ineligible regions or watch time under five seconds. Our calculator's worked example points out the same gap:

Blipix worked example showing the $1,400 per-view line counts every view, while TikTok only pays on qualified views of eligible videos over one minute

How rewards are calculated (and what TikTok does not publish)

TikTok's RPM explainer, published August 18, 2026, splits total rewards into two parts:

  • Standard Reward: the base payout, calculated on qualified views. It depends on audience metrics such as the regions your viewers come from and the language of your content.
  • Additional Reward: tied to content quality. It fluctuates with watch time, retention rate, completion rate and search value.

On the Additional Reward, TikTok writes: "This, combined with the Standard Reward, is what determines your RPM (average gross revenue per 1k qualified views)." It lists four video metrics: average watch time, retention rate (how many viewers stay after 30, 40, 50, 60 or 90 seconds), completion rate and search value.

So for one video, gross rewards are qualified views ÷ 1,000 × RPM. The catch is that you only find out either number from TikTok's dashboard, after the fact.

What TikTok does not publish

None of the TikTok pages we read gives an RPM figure, an RPM range, a per-country rate or a per-view rate. Any "per 1,000 views" number in a calculator, video or forum thread is somebody's estimate, ours included.

The US terms say rewards are based on legitimate views and other popularity and engagement signals, at TikTok's sole discretion. They add: "TikTok reserves the right to impose a monthly or annual cap on each Creator's available rewards for Eligible Videos."

That table is ours, not TikTok's, and the page it comes from labels every rate as an assumption.

When rewards are paid

  • Estimated rewards usually update within three days of posting. The dashboard shows your total rewards to date, not the amount for the current payout cycle.
  • Payment is on the 15th once you reach $50.00 USD and have finished onboarding, including tax information. Under the US terms, unpaid estimated rewards below that threshold may expire at TikTok's discretion.
  • Withdrawals are typically processed within 72 hours, with no guarantee. TikTok can also take back rewards it paid in error.
  • Rewards may be taxable. TikTok can't give personal tax advice, and neither can we.

Why the same views pay differently

TikTok's dashboard article says it plainly: "If you notice that two of your videos got a similar number of views but received very different reward amounts, it's usually because of your RPM." It adds that a higher RPM often indicates higher quality, longer watch times or better performance in eligible regions.

Blipix explainer on why the same TikTok views can pay very different amounts: qualified views, video length, watch time and viewer location

Two videos with similar view counts can differ on:

  • Qualified share: one may get mostly quick swipes and viewers from outside the program countries, the other mostly qualified views.
  • Length: a video just under a minute can't earn; one clearly over it can.
  • Watch time and retention: the Additional Reward follows both, so your opening matters. Our hook and script guide covers that.
  • Viewer location and language: both affect the Standard Reward.

TikTok doesn't say how much each of these counts, so treat them as things you can work on, not as a formula.

Creator Fund vs Creator Rewards: what changed

Many calculators still say "Creator Fund". In a November 6, 2023 newsroom update, TikTok said that from December 16, 2023 the Creativity Program would fully replace the Creator Fund in the US, UK, France and Germany. On March 18, 2024, TikTok announced that the Creativity Program was out of beta and renamed it the Creator Rewards Program. Side by side:

 Creator FundCreator Rewards Program
Status, as of October 2026Replaced in the US, UK, France and Germany from December 16, 2023Current program; Creativity Program Beta members were enrolled automatically
Minimum video lengthNo one-minute rule, per TikTok's comparisonOver one minute (Creator Academy); at least one minute (US terms)
Incentives for qualified viewsLower, per TikTok's comparisonHigher, per TikTok's FAQ
Performance dataLess, per TikTok's comparisonRPM dashboard with qualified and ineligible views per video
Published payout ratesWe make no claimNone published by TikTok

So a "creator fund calculator" is estimating pay from a program TikTok replaced in those markets in December 2023.

Other ways TikTok creators get paid

Creator Rewards is only one route. Briefly, the others:

  • LIVE Gifts. Viewers send Gifts during a LIVE, and creators collect Diamonds. TikTok's LIVE Gifts page says you must live where LIVE Gifts is available, be 18 or older (19 in South Korea), be eligible to go LIVE and be in good standing. TikTok's LIVE safety guide says going LIVE also takes a certain number of followers, which may vary by market. It doesn't give a number.
  • TikTok Shop affiliate (US). According to TikTok Shop Academy, affiliate creators must be 18 or older, be based in the United States, have at least 1,000 followers and pass identity verification. They earn commission on orders from product promotions. Other markets have different rules.
  • Brand deals. The FAQ says you can keep working with brands through TikTok One while you're in the program. TikTok One replaced TikTok Creative Challenge and TikTok Creator Marketplace. Sponsored videos themselves don't earn Creator Rewards.

Why every TikTok earnings calculator is an estimate

A calculator multiplies your inputs by a rate someone chose. Nobody outside TikTok knows the real rate, and total views aren't what TikTok pays on.

Our money calculator takes your followers, monthly views, LIVE hours, country and engagement, then adds up four monthly lines: per-view payout, brand deals, LIVE gifts and marketplace. Every rate is an assumption written on the page, each formula is shown, and the page says none of the rates come from TikTok. It runs in your browser, with no account needed.

The four formulas behind the Blipix TikTok money calculator: per-view payout, brand deals, LIVE gifts and marketplace, each stated as an assumption

Where it misleads:

  • The per-view line counts every view. TikTok only pays on qualified views of eligible videos over one minute, as the page's worked example warns.
  • The marketplace line should be zero if you sell nothing.
  • It lists 26 countries, but Creator Rewards is available in only 8. If you're in India or Nigeria, for example, Creator Rewards pays nothing today, whatever per-view rate the calculator shows.

Our views calculator multiplies monthly views by an assumed rate per 1,000 views for your country. It shows a conservative band at 70% and an optimistic one at 130%. The page calls these rates working assumptions and tells creators in the program to use their own instead: estimated rewards ÷ qualified views × 1,000.

YouTube pays through a separate program; our YouTube views calculator covers it.

What this means if you use Blipix

Blipix makes faceless videos. It writes your script or takes yours, draws an AI image for each beat, adds a narrator voiceover and captions, and renders 9:16 at 1080×1920 (16:9 and 1:1 are also available). More on our AI TikTok video generator and faceless video generator pages.

Length and the one-minute line

Blipix AI TikTok video generator showing where TikTok's one-minute line falls against Blipix video length brackets and credits

  • The free plan's only length is 30–60 seconds, so it can't reach the one-minute line. Free signup gives you 10 starter credits in most countries, enough for one 30–60 second preview with a watermark.
  • Paid plans add "1 to 1.5 minutes" for 10 credits, the same as 30–60 seconds. The 1.5–2 minute length costs 20 credits, and longer ones cost more, up to 150 credits for 12–15 minutes.
  • Each length option is a target range, not an exact duration. Check in the editor that the final video is clearly over 1:00 before you post.

Posting and auto-publishing need a paid plan; prices are on our pricing page.

Publishing to TikTok

Blipix publish-to-TikTok settings: who can view, comments, duets and stitches, promotional disclosure, and the AI label set on every post

On paid plans, Blipix publishes through TikTok's official Content Posting API. In the editor you choose who can view the video (Public, Friends or Private), turn comments, duets and stitches on or off, and mark it as promotional content: for your brand, a third party, or both. Blipix turns on TikTok's AI-generated content label for every post it publishes. A series can post once a day, twice a day or three times a week. TikTok limits how many videos third-party apps can post per day through its API. If it blocks an upload because of that limit, we email you and suggest spacing out your schedules.

The honest caveats

  • Blipix doesn't make you eligible for Creator Rewards, and we make no earnings claims.
  • Low quality and unoriginal are real risks. TikTok names "low-quality images" and "slide videos" as low quality, and it treats unoriginal content as ineligible. An AI video built from one image per beat with a generic script could be judged that way. We don't know how TikTok classifies any given video, so the script, angle and editing need to be genuinely yours. TikTok's own criteria are well-crafted, engaging and specialized. Our TikTok script generator can give you a first draft, but the expertise has to come from you.
  • The AI label is a rule, not a disqualifier. TikTok's rules require it for realistic AI content. We found no official TikTok statement on whether the label affects Creator Rewards, so we make no claim either way. See our guide to labeling AI-generated videos.
  • A daily series won't raise your RPM. When the program launched, TikTok's newsroom said: "The new formula rewards accounts with content that is clear, and engaging, rather than favoring accounts with an excessive amount of videos."
  • When Blipix is the wrong pick: if you film yourself, or earn mainly through LIVE or TikTok Shop, Blipix adds little.

FAQ

Does TikTok pay per view?

Not for every view. Creator Rewards pays on qualified views of eligible videos, at an RPM that TikTok doesn't publish.

How much does TikTok pay per 1,000 views?

TikTok doesn't publish a figure, a range or per-country rates. Once you're in the program, your dashboard shows your RPM for each video.

Is the TikTok Creator Fund still running?

TikTok said the Creativity Program would fully replace it in the US, UK, France and Germany from December 16, 2023. The Creativity Program then became the Creator Rewards Program in March 2024.

When does TikTok pay out?

On the 15th of the month, once you reach $50.00 USD and have finished onboarding, including tax information.

Can I earn Creator Rewards outside the eight countries?

No. Your account must be based and registered in one of them, and only views from those countries qualify.
